Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve gathered everything you’re curious about Pilates,
just step onto the mat.
Is something on your mind?
Do I need to be fit to start Pilates?
Not at all. Pilates is already there to take you to that point; we start in a way that suits every level and progress from where your body is ready.
What is the difference between Reformer Pilates and Mat Pilates?
On the Reformer, you work against spring resistance, feel your muscles more deeply, and increase your range of motion. Mat Pilates, on the other hand, uses your own body weight and focuses on balance and awareness. The two complement each other.
How many people are there in group lessons?
Our groups are kept small, so the instructor can really see you and correct your form in every movement. You won’t get lost in the crowd.
What difference does taking private lessons make?
The program is tailored entirely to you. You work one-on-one based on your goals, pace, and your body’s needs, so progress is much faster and more intentional.
Do you need a doctor's report for physical therapy?
It’s not required, but if you have it, it will speed up the process. In the first session, our physiotherapist will assess you and create a plan tailored to your condition.
What is the difference between manual therapy and physical therapy?
Physical therapy is an exercise- and movement-based process, while manual therapy is a method in which the therapist works directly on muscles and joints with their hands. When the two are applied together, results come much faster.
